Holmes brings more than 20 years in leadership roles at top technology consulting firms
CONCORD and IRVINE, Calif., March 18, 2008 – Entisys Solutions, Inc., the West Coast’s #1 provider of enterprise virtualization and access delivery solutions, today announced the appointment of Glen Holmes as vice president of the Southwest Region. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing Agile360, the Southern California Division of Entisys Solutions.
“We are thrilled that Glen has joined Entisys to head up our Southern California team,” said Mike Strohl, president of Entisys Solutions, Inc. “His proven track record for growing technology consulting firms makes him an ideal fit for our burgeoning operation.”
Holmes has been involved in the information technology industry for more than 20 years. In 1987, he founded Micro Visions and grew the company to more than 90 employees, including 55 consultants. Under Holmes’ leadership, Micro Visions was also one of the original 10 Citrix® Platinum partners and was named “Citrix Partner of the Year” in 1998 and 1999.
In 1999, Holmes sold Micro Visions to FutureLink and became the firm’s president and chief operating officer. His responsibilities included managing more than 650 employees in 28 offices across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom and generating more than $120 million in revenues.
“Holmes understands the importance a technology consulting firm brings to its clients and he has consistently proven his ability to keep his teams focused on the client’s needs and goals,” continued Strohl.
"A vital point I learned in my early days as a consultant is that we need to always be focused on providing expert advice and innovative solutions that help clients enhance their core business,” said Holmes. “I look forward to leading Agile360, Entisys’ Southern California team in doing whatever it takes to meet the needs of our growing client base."
